Work from Home Teacher Assistant – Hiring in US

Working from a home office, the Teacher Assistant is responsible for supporting the teachers with daily non-instructional tasks and processes.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist with managing non-instructional tasks andĀ  processes for the teachers, strands, and division throughout the school year;
  • Provide critical customer service to students and families regarding integral school information and student progressĀ 
  • Ability to provide Spanish translation services to students and their families is preferredĀ 
  • Interpret data and other statistical information;
  • Coordinate data collection, verification, and entry processes and maintain all required records;
  • Enter data into the online student information system;
  • Generate school and student reports;
  • Create spreadsheets using Excel formulas to track student data;
  • Answer phone calls;
  • Assist school Principals and Assistant Principals with a wide variety of daily responsibilities; and
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What you should have:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and web-based applications is essential 
  • Prior Teacher or Teacher Assistant experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Experience working with large data sets from different sources
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Customer-focused approach
  • High degree of flexibility                                   
  • Familiar with STAAR/EOC testing preferred
